We explored the basics of ^® Microsoft PowerPoint and received ideas on how to use it for home, hobby, clubs, and religious groups. You can download the set of templates and graphics in a "Zip" (compressed) format. You will need a utitilty to unzip these file and folders if you do not have one, something like freezip.

Although many different versions exist, this quick overview will give you the basics of what most people have. There are lots of other tutorials on the Internet so don't be afraid to explore. The PowerPoint version of this overview adapted for the Tech Club presentation on 12-19-07 is also here.

Even if you don't have PowerPoint you can download the 2007 PowerPoint Viewer here. PowerPoint Viewer 2007 (Windows only) lets you view full-featured presentations created in PowerPoint 97 and later versions. This viewer also supports opening password-protected Microsoft PowerPoint presentations. You can view and print presentations, but you cannot edit them in the PowerPoint Viewer 2007.
